Petrovaradin is located next to Novi Sad, on the right bank of the Danube river. It is famous for its fortress and for the EXIT music festival, held there every July. FK Petrovaradin is football club founded in 1925. The club plays its matches in the sports center Petrovaradin, which was reconstructed two years ago and within it there is a handball court, playground and several grassy field. Sports center can be reached by taxi from Novi Sad for a few euros. There is a football ground with only one open hard standing at which for today match had gathered only 66 people (head count). Admission was free. Once here was a group of fans who knew how to make a good atmosphere but who knows where these guys are now. One goal at the beginning of the match, red card before the end of the half and going home for winter break.

Veternik

Veternik is the place, connected with Novi Sad and also with Futog, for many is known as a training base of football club "Vojvodina", with its fields and infrastructure. But there is a local club, FK Veternik. The club was founded 1977 and his greatest moments had experienced ten years ago when competing in the second league. After a few years of playing in third division, club withdrew from the competition and the punishment was moving two ranks down. Today they plays in PFL Novi Sad, which is fifth rank of competition in Serbia. Their stadium have only one grandstand with, as some say 5,000 places for spectators. Unfortunately can be seen that there is no investment in it. The game itself was no spectacular, second goal is to re-tell, but it is an interesting departure of a large part of the audience at half-time in the object, which is called "the second house" right next to the stadium. Of course, on the refreshment!

 

 

 

 

FC "Vujadin Boškov"

In the early seventies of last century on the edge of Novi Sad, and the next roads to Veternik, arose sport and a training center, the home of football club Vojvodina. In 2006, the club reconstructed the whole club complex along with the stadium. The club's training complex is one of the most modern training camps in the region.  Today, this gorgeous center spread on 85,000 square meters of sports failties and 2,000 square feet of enclosed space. At 6 courts practicing daily first team players and seven junior selections of club. One of them is with artificial grass. Conditions that provides Football Centre  "Vujadin Boškov" allow playing matches and tournaments. Two courts are surrounded by bleachers, and at the main there is possibility of playing matches and training in night conditions.
