Potiska liga - VI
SC Mile Sretenović - Čiča, Ostojićevo
att: 190

Ostojićevo is village in northern part of Serbia, just 10km away from Senta. In a place that has less than 3,000 inhabitants it was hard to expect something special to see, but...Football club Sloga was founded in 1925. In the last many, many years club plays in the last rank of competition, while this year are candidates for promotion to a higher rank. Last year came the new administration and football is once again the number one topic in Ostojićevo. Nearly two hundred people gathered today at the derby against neighboring village and I doubt that someone expected this result at the end. Probably no one, considering that new scoreboard shows only five numbers but I am sure that the guys who run the club will fix it in the future. Apart from being home team made up of local boys it is worth mentioning that the entrance was free, but if you are willing to help the club, there is a box where you can put your contribution.
All in all, a nice Sunday afternoon in the company of my friends from Austria. Yes, the hosts had the international visit and perhaps because of this were playful...

It is located on the road which, by the left side of Tisa river, connecting cities Kanjiža and Senta and with rail is connected with Subotica and Kikinda. Although a small town, with about 5,000 inhabitants, Čoka is known as the seat of the tobacco and wine industry.
Football club Čoka is founded in 1946 and currently plays in PFL Subotica, which is fifth tier of Serbian football. They play home matches at stadium located near the center and the bus station. Entrance to the stadium is through the passage between the two buildings. The stadium has a stand with only three rows which is entire repainted in red and blue club colors, manual scoreboard and a lot of open space around the pitch.
In the last match of the season at home, they played and lost to the team that will play next season in the upper range of competition. Admission was 100 rsd (€1) and for me it was a surprise how looks good ticket for this rank of competition.

FK Preporod 1-2 FK Tisa

31.08.2011.
PFL Subotica - V
SD Preporod, Novi Žednik
att: 80

Novi Žednik is a village located in the Subotica municipality.  I do not know why I decided to go by train to the match. My last rail journey, to Senta, was a disaster. Today I missed the kick off, because the train on the route of twenty kilometers in the arrival was late an hour! Anything is possible in Serbia. But somehow, I came to the match. Five league match, so is football. Admission was free of course. Once all on this ground was in better condition than it is today, but such are the times. Otherwise, I met a couple guys I know. When I told why I was here, looked at me strangely. Groundhopping? They love  football and their club, but grounds... Preporod even has its own group of fans, local boys, who are called Red Devils. Today they were not in the element, even though they organized to go to away games against their biggest rivals, such as Čantavir. Hosts had lost today's match, but their place is in the middle of the table as well for years and the fans are happy for another season of football in their village.
