Šimanovci is settlements in the Srem district, 28 km away from Belgrade, only 10 kilometers from the international airport "Nikola Tesla".
Football club Hajduk was founded in 1932 and has never changed the name. The club has its own ground with one stand with a capacity of 270 seats and a building that was built in in 1981. The club currently plays in the PFL Sremska Mitrovica ("Sremska liga"), which is the fifth rank of competition in Serbia.

At about ten kilometers from Novi Sad, on the way to Titel and Zrenjanin is Kać. This little place with 11,500 inhabitants is well connected to Novi Sad by the city's bus service. The most popular sport in the city is probably handball but football has its place.
Youth football club Jugović was founded in 1912. The club is
among the oldest football clubs in Serbia
and one of the few clubs who have the original founding document. It was formed as OKSK but in 1926 was given its current name. An interesting fact is that the club plays in a row for 21 year in the same rank of the competition. Their home ground is Sports Center Siget, in which in the early nineties of the last century was built concrete stand for around 1,200 spectators. Admission for today´s match was 100rsd which is less than 1€. In the clash of "gunners" and "students" draw is the fairest result of this match, uncertain until the very end.

Ostojićevo is village in northern part of Serbia, just 10km away from Senta. In a place that has less than 3,000 inhabitants it was hard to expect something special to see, but...Football club Sloga was founded in 1925. In the last many, many years club plays in the last rank of competition, while this year are candidates for promotion to a higher rank. Last year came the new administration and football is once again the number one topic in Ostojićevo. Nearly two hundred people gathered today at the derby against neighboring village and I doubt that someone expected this result at the end. Probably no one, considering that new scoreboard shows only five numbers but I am sure that the guys who run the club will fix it in the future. Apart from being home team made up of local boys it is worth mentioning that the entrance was free, but if you are willing to help the club, there is a box where you can put your contribution.
All in all, a nice Sunday afternoon in the company of my friends from Austria. Yes, the hosts had the international visit and perhaps because of this were playful...
